The District Rotary Foundation Committee met and reviewed the many grant requests made by the clubs in our District. We were pleased that nearly $50,000 in funds will be distributed to 28 of the 47 Rotary clubs in our District this year which is more than twice as many clubs as last year.

After all the appropriate calculations were made to determine the local District Designated Funds (DDF) grant funds available to each club (based on each club’s donation in 2013-14 [3 years prior] along with the per capita giving in that year), below is a summary of the amounts the Committee will make available to each club for their project.

These funds are usually released in late July or early August and a check will be mailed to the new club President for deposit into the separate bank account for the project.

November is the Centennial of The Rotary Foundation, and you will hear more about the good work Rotary does in the world from Tim and his new friend Anna as we celebrate the Party of the Century together. More to come later.

Thank you.
