April is Maternal and Child Health Month
District Governor's Corner
Ahh Spring!

A season filled with flowers, sunshine, Rotarians at work, the District Conference, and the budding of a new Rotary club in Green.  If you know someone who lives in the Green area and who might be interested in being a part of a new club, please send me their name and contact information and ask them to save the date, Tuesday, 11 April, 7:30 a.m.

Rotarians from Districts 6650 and 6630 have been working together to make the Rotary Club of Green Sunrise a reality.

A sample of Rotarians at work: Boardman Rotarians Howard Mettee and Bill Sweeney cleaning the pancake grill; John Yerian and his daughter serving the community.  Howland Interactors raising money with a bake sale at the spaghetti dinner; Howland President Bill Sincich, AG Marilyn Titus and Bob Bixler ladling out yummy spaghetti.  Orrville Rotarians James Carpenter & Tommy Brenner working Orrville's 50th Annual Pancake Breakfast.

The District Conference committee has been working hard to make this a most valuable and enjoyable event!  Come join fellow Rotarians as we capture the Spirit of Rotary, act on the Spirit of Rotary and take the Spirit of Rotary into the future.

It is not too late to sign up for all or part of the conference.  You can do so online or call Lauri in the District Office at 330.452.2882.

The Avalon Inn and Resort in Warren is rolling out the red carpet for District 6650 Rotarians!

I am looking forward to seeing you all on April 7th and 8th!

Hugs to you all,

Sieglinde
