DISASTER AID FOR HURRICANE MILTON AND HURRICANE HELENE
Crisis Cleanup for Hurricane Helene has been ongoing with the massive work with our Rotarian Jim Gillespie (Rotary Club of Grove City, Ohio) who is the Ohio Director for Disaster Aid USA.
There are Rotarians on the ground now helping to clean up. However, you can still make a difference!
CRISIS CLEAN UP IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS TO INTAKE CALLS
Jim reports "I can tell you from taking input calls with Crisis Cleanup this is the most massive storm I have seen, in just a few days (many areas are still in search and recovery) there were 8.900 open cases with over 5,400 in backlog (people that have called in but waiting to get callback to input their request.. NOTE: This is an area club members can help from their home - you just need a PC and phone, after a short training you are helping from your home!
