DISTRICT HEARING MISSION

I have the exciting opportunity to accompany Rotarian Dr. Sheryl Figliano and THE HEARING MISSIONS to Guatemala as a representative of District 6650!  Our District partnered with Dr. Figliano, the Boardman Rotary Club, and The Hearing Missions Foundation to help bring the gift of hearing to children with profound and severe hearing loss.  The financial response of Rotarians and Rotary Clubs in this District to this partnership is amazing and heartwarming.  I hope to send back pictures and reports regularly on the impact this group is making.  Watch the District site and Facebook page for these postings. I want you to be able to see what your generosity over the last two months is doing today!

A Facebook page has been created to follow the Mission:

ON THE LINE
Though a person is the District Governor for only one year, the road to and through the position is a bit longer. District Governor Nominee Designate; District Governor Nominee; District Governor Elect; District Governor; Immediate Past District Governor; Past District Governor.  Accepting the appointment is a six, and sometimes seven, year commitment. As such, it is a good idea to know who is coming along, as well as who has already passed through the line.
