2023 District Conference Schedule
 

Friday, June 16, 2023 6:30pm-10pm - Centennial Plaza, Downtown Canton
      Join fellow Rotarians for fun and fellowship as we enjoy the new Centennial Plaza in Downtown Canton. Grab a drink at Jerzees and then enjoy appetizers provided by the Rotary Club of Canton. Entertainment will be provided by Yankee Bravo - a local band from Stark County.

     We will be doing a service project to benefit Sole Hope. This organization uses old denim jeans and turns them into shoes for people in Uganda. Please bring any old jeans that you have lying around the house to the District Conference! It's ok if they have holes!

Harbir Kaur Bhatia
 

Harbir Kaur Bhatia is a civic entrepreneur and the founder of IK Onkar Bridges. She serves on various community boards and organizations for community betterment, bridge building of understanding and partnerships, and current social issues.  She has been recognized for her innovative programs, women's empowerment, community leadership, and crisis relief campaigns in the United States and other parts of the world. Harbir has a background in high technology, entrepreneurship, public sector leadership, community planning, place making and content/media production. Her education includes a Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Management.  Being an immigrant and a Sikh have influenced her to be socially focussed, see beyond the lines that often divide people,  and create programs that serve for the ‘betterment for all’.
