Hope everyone is well.
The Canfield Rotary has been active with projects and zoom meeting.
We still have our Covid help program available to those in need. We provide food vouchers for families in need. We are working on a project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, to make beds for children that don't have one. We also provide blankets ,sheets and pillows. Right now we are not delivering because we do not want to go into peoples homes.
We used our grant to refurbish a storage room in Canfield Middle school for help with food and clothing for children that are in need of help. We have refrigerator and food pantry.
We are still working on the gazebo on Canfield Green. We are expanding the gazebo and improving its features.
Our new project is to participate in the 175th year of the Canfield Fair. They are offering a 6 foot tall Roosters to be auctioned off. We are putting on Canfield Rotary memories and hope too win the auction and put the rooster in front of our building.
We have had a few Rotarians with covid but, nothing major.
In our Zoom meetings so far, we have spoken with Rotarians in Uganda, Chile, Honduras, and Venezuela and others from around the US.
