On September 21, 2017, The Rotary Club of Canton held it's 3rd. Annual Oktoberfest in Downtown Canton. This year's Oktoberfest featured tastings from 12 local breweries and wineries, Canton Rotary's famous grilled brats, entertainment from Visinata, a German-style “Oktoberfest” band and a performance by the Canton Ballet. 
On September 23, 2017, Canton Rotarians volunteered to help work on a Habitat for Humanity neighborhood enhancement project which created a pocket park located on 19th. Street and Edwards Avenue NE in Canton. Canton Rotarians assembled and installed benches, bicycle stations, decorative planters and a community bulletin board.
