Rotary Club of Cortland

 

 

The Rotary Club of Cortland Celebrated the Foundation Centennial during our "Fireside Chat" at Barrel 33 in Howland Ohio.  Tuesday evening Rotarians, friends, new members and potential members got together for a great time.

At our Fireside Chat we learned together about Rotary Avenues of Service and the many wonderful things the Rotary Club of Cortland does in our community.

We learned together about the Rotary Foundation, Paul Harris and Arch Klumph. We had wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a delicious birthday cake to celebrate the Foundation's 100 years.  During our celebration we enjoyed fellowship with District Governor Sieglinde Warren and Past District Governor Larry Warren.  Two members, Jerry Carleton and Pat O'Conner made a $100 donation to Rotary Foundation with the highest bid of $100 for the Centennial Bottle of wine. After the meeting we stayed for some excellent jazz entertainment.
