The Girard-Liberty Rotary Club is attempting to have funds to support District 6650 and Rotary International Projects. Thus we have taken on two more fundraisers this year, even though we are a small club of 21 members. The first project is completed. We have joined other area clubs in a "Flag Project". Our goal this year was to distribute 20 flags around Girard and Liberty - and we accomplished that goal!
Our next project coming up on Friday and Saturday, September 29 & 30 from 11 am to 6 pm at the Belmont Giant Eagle on Belmont Ave. in Liberty, is a steak and/or sausage sandwich sale. We will be outside the store and the sandwiches are $5.
Our yearly Reverse Drawing Fundraiser will be held on November 11th this year at Leo's Restaurant in Howland, beginning at 6 PM. The Tickets are $100 each.
