At our August 9th. Rotary meeting, Canton Rotarians welcomed District Governor Dan Morgan.
PRESIDENT MARK “ROCKET ARM” ROJEK THROWS OUT “FIRST PITCH” AT AN AKRON RUBBERDUCKS GAME
On Thursday, August 15th, Canton Rotary enjoyed a night of fellowship at an Akron Rubberducks game to show support of its Club President Mark “Rocket Arm” Rojek. Mark received the opportunity to throw out the “First Pitch” of a game when owner & CEO of the Akron Rubberducks, Ken Babby, spoke at a Canton Rotary meeting and provided a Rotarian with this unique opportunity. Mark did extensive training to prepare himself for this endeavor. Standing on the mound, and with proper pitching form, he made his “fans” proud by successfully getting the ball over home plate!
