Paul Harris Fellow Awarded to Dylan Cunningham
 
The Rotary Club of Steubenville awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow to Big Red Interact Club member Dylan Cunningham at the Rotary meeting on Friday, August 2.  Dylan who graduated in June from Steubenville High School was a member of the Interact Club since its inception 4 years ago.  He was nominated by fellow students for this leadership skills, for being that one member who always jumped in to help with any project and living the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.  Dylan will continue his studies at Wheeling University this fall.
 
This award is named after Rotary founder Paul Harris who believed everyone should provide service to their communities.  Members and others can contribute to the Rotary Foundation and earn a Paul Harris Fellow or provide the award to a deserving person.

Paul Harris Society gifts enable Rotary’s worldwide network of dedicated humanitarians to implement projects that address pressing needs in communities around the world. Because of these contributions:  Children are vaccinated against polio and other diseases , Adults and children alike can learn to read and write, Women are given microloans and vocational training that enable them to support themselves and their families in a healthy and dignified way, Teachers and schoolchildren have access to toilet facilities and clean drinking water, Scholars are able to study ways to prevent maternal and child mortality, and Professionals from around the world convene to discuss strategies for resolving conflict and fostering peace
